We arrived from intrastate at 0800 and arrived at the hotel by 0900 and did not expect to be able to check in until much later in the day. However, we were greeted very warmly and had access to our room immediately. The room was very clean and comfortable, and although only there for 1 night we were very impressed, and would highly recommend to family and friends visiting Brisbane.
Since my wife and I were last in Brisbane in April 2008 the city has, and is, undergoing quite a few changes and whilst we were only there overnight on this occasion we know from previous visits that there are many and varied places and things of interest to do and see. We particularly enjoy the Southbank area and the Brisbane river. The variety of places to eat is also quite exceptional, ranging from hamburgers to A La carte and everything in between, which caters for all tastes and budgets.
