Upon checking in we were advised that the smoke alarms were sensitive in the building and would result in a 5 callout fee if set off - this could occur if we burnt toast etc- great start to the stay We arrived to a room that was on the 25th floor and about 2 metrs away from a construction site for a building next door. We requested to be moved after 2 mins due to the language and noise from the building site and the fact the rooms aircon system could be heard as running water through the living area- aparantly a common problem.
The staff were very helpful and then moved us to another room. This room was cleaner than the previous room but there was vomit on the outside rail of the balcony left by a previous guest. The following morning we woke up to no water for approx. 40 mins. I stay in numerous apartments throughout Brisbane and will never come back to this one.
